Mannings Construction is an innovative main contractor and design build partner with a reputation for delivering value engineering and fast-track projects since 1975.
The firm has set the standard in delivering construction projects across the retail, logistics, tech, pharma, health, mixed-use, office and residential sectors across ROI and UK within impressive time-frames. Projects range in scale and value from minor refurbishment projects (often completed outside normal working hours to avoid disruption to client operations), to large-scale high-tech projects including the mammoth €70 million 77,000m2 facility in Co Dublin (ninth largest building in the world by volume when completed by Mannings in 15 months).
Mannings’ ability to implement ‘Invisible Methodology’ on live projects and devise innovative solutions, has led to high levels of repeat business and client retention. The firm delivered the first PassivHaus retail project in the world and first non-domestic Passive-Haus project in Ireland, adhering to the PassivHaus Institute’s exceptional standards for energy efficiency. The firm has subsequently adopted the principles of Lean Construction and completed projects to BREEAM Very Good standard (equivalent to LEED Gold). The techniques devised on these projects are now applied widely across the industry. The firm registered for the Considerate Constructor scheme in 2020 and continues to promote best practice in construction and health and safety. Mannings’ partnership approach and ongoing ability to innovate whilst delivering projects within budget, programme and to the highest quality standards has been the foundation for the firm’s success over the past forty-five years.
Mannings bring the old-fashioned values of pride in our work and integrity in how we deliver to the fore. We take those values and combine them with innovative construction technologies to yield client satisfaction, time after time.
We look forward to doing business with you
Mannings work pro-actively to identify and protect all stakeholders. Their health and safety regime is taken as a model in the construction industry. Always, they work with communities and the various statutory authorities to inspire confidence in and broad acceptance of their various projects.
In recent years and sharing the common concern for protection of the environment, they have moved to develop revised methods of working to reduce the environmental impact of their operations, promoting sustainable building practices and processes. In this regard, the headline project to date, completed with the invaluable support, confidence and encouragement of Tesco Ireland, comprises the first 'PassivHaus' certified Supermarket in the world, Ireland’s first non-domestic building to meet the German PassivHaus Institute’s exceptional standards for energy efficiency. Already, the techniques devised on that project are being applied elsewhere to considerable environmental effect.
Mannings’ activities are grounded in client satisfaction, driven by a continuous and iterative process through which capabilities are matched and re-matched with emerging client requirements. This disposition will remain the focus of all activities into the indefinite future.
